This record belongs to the US marine Michael Eckert with 50 clean pull-ups in one minute. He accomplished this challenge in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan, on 11 October 2015. But this record has been ‘accidentally’ broken by a Russian Crossfitter while filming a video to motivate young people to start exercising. From a strict point of you, it seems that the Russian effort is not eligible to be granted a world record because you can see him giving few kicks to help him during his pull-ups whereas your body has to remain straight during the entire exercise. It is good to note that Vladimir Makurov managed to do 67 pullups in 60seconds which is still pretty impressive.
