Ah, the famous Salad Niçoise – a very popular dish in France for many reasons.
As many recipes today, it’s always hard to find the ingredients that formed the original salad. If you look up on the internet, you’ll find several recipes claiming to be the real recipe. But as you may notice, there are all slightly different:

Whatever ! we can still see similar ingredients in each recipe. And we gonna make our salad based on those similarities with our fitness goal in mind. You can add any ingredients at your convenience.
Ingredients (1 person)
• 200g of tuna (spring water can and no olive oil can)
• 2 tomatoes
• 1 egg
• 50g of anchovy
• salad onions
• black olives from Nice (5)
• olive oil
• Green and red pepper
Like the Prawns and Avocado Salad, this salad Niçoise is very easy to prepare.
The first step is to boil your egg in a pan full of water (8 to 10min).
While waiting for your egg to be ready, chop the salad onions in very small pieces and put them on a plate.
Drain your tuna can and crumble it on the plate. Do the same with the anchovies.
Once your egg is ready, put it under fresh water and then shell it. Cut the tomatoes and your egg in thin slices (more beautiful for presentation).
Add some black olives from Nice and then add a generous spoon of olive oil on the top of the salad.
Anchovies are naturally very salty so you don’t have to add any salt to your salad. It depends on your taste.
That’s it! your delicious Salad Niçoise is ready!
